1Anima cum obtulerit oblationem sacrificii Domino,When a soul will offer an oblation of sacrifice to the Lord,simila erit ejus oblatio;his oblation shall be of fine wheat flour,fundetque super eam oleum,and he shall pour oil over it,et ponet thus,and he shall set down frankincense,
2ac deferet ad filios Aaron sacerdotes:and he shall bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests.quorum unus tollet pugillum plenum similæ et olei, ac totum thus,One of them shall take a handful of the flour with oil, as well as all the frankincense,et ponet memoriale super altare in odorem suavissimum Domino.and he shall place it as a memorial upon the altar, as a most sweet odor to the Lord.
3Quod autem reliquum fuerit de sacrificio,Then what will remain of the sacrifice shall be for Aaronerit Aaron et filiorum ejus,and his sons,Sanctum sanctorum de oblationibus Domini.the Holy of holies from the oblations of the Lord.
4Cum autem obtuleris sacrificium coctum in clibano: de simila,But when you will offer a sacrifice baked in the oven from fine wheat flour,panes scilicet absque fermento,specifically: loaves without leaven,conspersos oleo,sprinkled with oil,et lagana azyma oleo lita.and unleavened wafers, rubbed with oil:
5Si oblatio tua fuerit de sartagine,if your oblation will be from the frying pan,similæ conspersæ oleo et absque fermento,of flour tempered with oil and without leaven,
6divides eam minutatim,you shall divide it into little pieceset fundes super eam oleum.and pour oil over it.
7Sin autem de craticula fuerit sacrificium,But if the sacrifice will be from the oven grating,æque simila oleo conspergetur:equally the fine wheat flour shall be sprinkled with oil.
8quam offerens Domino,When you are offering it to the Lord,trades manibus sacerdotis.you shall deliver it into the hands of the priest.
9Qui cum obtulerit eam,And when he has offered it,tollet memoriale de sacrificio,he shall take a memorial from the sacrificeet adolebit super altare in odorem suavitatis Domino:and burn it upon the altar as a sweet odor to the Lord.
10quidquid autem reliquum est, erit Aaron, et filiorum ejus,But whatever is left shall be for Aaron and his sons,Sanctum sanctorum de oblationibus Domini.the Holy of holies from the oblations of the Lord.
11Omnis oblatio quæ offeretur Domino,Every oblation that is offered to the Lord shall be made without leaven;absque fermento fiet,neither shall any leavennec quidquam fermenti ac mellis adolebitur in sacrificio Domino.or honey be burned with the sacrifice to the Lord.
12Primitias tantum eorum offeretisYou shall offer only the first-fruits of these along with the gifts.ac munera:Yet truly,super altare vero non imponentur in odorem suavitatis.these shall not be placed upon the altar as an odor of sweetness.
13Quidquid obtuleris sacrificii, sale condies,Whatever sacrifice you will offer, you shall season it with salt;nec auferes sal fœderis Dei tui de sacrificio tuo:neither shall you take away the salt of the covenant of your God from your sacrifice.in omni oblatione tua offeres sal.In all your oblations, you shall offer salt.
14Si autem obtuleris munus primarum frugum tuarum Domino de spicis adhuc virentibus,But if you will offer a gift of the first-fruits of your grain to the Lord, from ears of grain still green,torrebis igni, et confringes in morem farris,you shall parch it at the fire, and break it open in the manner of meal.et sic offeres primitias tuas Domino,And so shall you offer your first-fruits to the Lord:
15fundens supra oleum,pouring oil over it,et thus imponens,and imposing frankincense,quia oblatio Domini est:because it is an oblation of the Lord.
16de qua adolebit sacerdos in memoriam muneris partem farris fracti, et olei, ac totum thus.From this, the priest shall burn, as a memorial of the gift, a portion of the cracked grain and the oil, as well as all of the frankincense.
