2Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis,Our feet were standing in your courts,Jerusalem.O Jerusalem.

3Jerusalem, quæ ædificatur ut civitas,Jerusalem has been built as a city,cujus participatio ejus in idipsum.whose participation is unto itself.

4Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus,For to that place, the tribes ascended,tribus Domini:the tribes of the Lord:testimonium Israël,the testimony of Israel,ad confitendum nomini Domini.to confess to the name of the Lord.

5Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio,For in that place, seats have sat down in judgment,sedes super domum David.seats above the house of David.

6Rogate quæ ad pacem sunt Jerusalem,Petition for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem,et abundantia diligentibus te.and for abundance for those who love you.

7Fiat pax in virtute tua,Let peace be in your virtue,et abundantia in turribus tuis.and abundance in your towers.

8Propter fratres meos et proximos meos,For the sake of my brothers and my neighbors,loquebar pacem de te.I spoke peace about you.

9Propter domum Domini Dei nostri,For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,quæsivi bona tibi.I sought good things for you.
