2Ædificans Jerusalem Dominus,The Lord builds up Jerusalem.dispersiones Israëlis congregabit:He will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3qui sanat contritos corde,He heals the contrite of heart,et alligat contritiones eorum;and he binds up their sorrows.
4qui numerat multitudinem stellarum,He numbers the multitude of the stars,et omnibus eis nomina vocat.and he calls them all by their names.
5Magnus Dominus noster,Great is our Lord,et magna virtus ejus,and great is his virtue.et sapientiæ ejus non est numerus.And of his wisdom, there is no number.
6Suscipiens mansuetos Dominus;The Lord lifts up the meek,humilians autem peccatores usque ad terram.but he brings down the sinner, even to the ground.
7Præcinite Domino in confessione;Sing before the Lord with confession.psallite Deo nostro in cithara.Play psalms to our God on a stringed instrument.
8Qui operit cælum nubibus,He covers heaven with clouds,et parat terræ pluviam;and he prepares rain for the earth.qui producit in montibus fœnum,He produces grass on the mountainset herbam servituti hominum;and herbs for the service of men.
9qui dat jumentis escam ipsorum,He gives their food to beasts of burdenet pullis corvorum invocantibus eum.and to young ravens that call upon him.
10Non in fortitudine equi voluntatem habebit,He will not have good will for the strength of the horse,nec in tibiis viri beneplacitum erit ei.nor will he be well pleased with the legs of a man.
11Beneplacitum est Domino super timentes eum,The Lord is well pleased with those who fear himet in eis qui sperant super misericordia ejus.and with those who hope in his mercy.
