cum venissent Ziphæi,when the Ziphites had arrivedet dixissent ad Saul:and they said to Saul,Nonne David absconditus est apud nos?“Has not David been hidden with us?”

Deus,Save me,in nomine tuo salvum me fac,O God, by your name,et in virtute tua judica me.and judge me in your virtue.

Deus,O God,exaudi orationem meam;listen to my prayer.auribus percipe verba oris mei.Pay attention to the words of my mouth.

Ecce enim Deus adjuvat me,For behold, God is my helper,et Dominus susceptor est animæ meæ.and the Lord is the protector of my soul.

Averte mala inimicis meis;Turn back the evils upon my adversaries,et in veritate tua disperde illos.and ruin them by your truth.

Voluntarie sacrificabo tibi,I will freely sacrifice to you,et confitebor nomini tuo,and I will confess your name,Domine,O God,quoniam bonum est.because it is good.

Quoniam ex omni tribulatione eripuisti me,For you have quickly rescued me from all tribulation,et super inimicos meos despexit oculus meus.and my eye has looked down upon my enemies.
