In finem,Unto the end.ne disperdas.May you not destroy.David in tituli inscriptionem,Of David, with the inscription of a title, quando misit Saul et custodivit domum ejus ut eum interficeret.when Saul sent and watched his house, in order to execute him.

Eripe me de inimicis meis,Rescue me from my enemies,Deus meus,my God,et ab insurgentibus in me libera me.and free me from those who rise up against me.

Eripe me de operantibus iniquitatem,Rescue me from those who work iniquity,et de viris sanguinum salva me.and save me from men of blood.

Quia ecce ceperunt animam meam; For behold, they have seized my soul.irruerunt in me fortes. The strong have rushed upon me.

Neque iniquitas mea,And it is neither my iniquity, neque peccatum meum, nor my sin,Domine;O Lord.sine iniquitate cucurri,I have run and gone directly,et direxi.without iniquity.

Exsurge in occursum meum,Rise up to meet me, and see:et vide:even you,et tu,O Lord,Domine Deus virtutum, Deus Israël,the God of hosts, the God of Israel.intende ad visitandas omnes gentes:Reach out to visit all nations.non miserearis omnibus qui operantur iniquitatem.Do not take pity on all those who work iniquity.

Convertentur ad vesperam,They will return toward evening,et famem patientur ut canes:and they will suffer hunger like dogs,et circuibunt civitatem.and they will wander around the city.

Ecce loquentur in ore suo,Behold, they will speak with their mouth,et gladius in labiis eorum:and a sword is in their lips:quoniam quis audivit?“For who has heard us?”

Et tu,And you,Domine,O Lord, deridebis eos;will laugh at them.ad nihilum deduces omnes gentes. You will lead all the Gentiles to nothing.

Fortitudinem meam ad te custodiam, quia,I will guard my strength toward you,Deus, susceptor meus es:for you are God, my supporter.

Deus meus misericordia ejus præveniet me.My God, his mercy will precede me.

Deus ostendet mihi super inimicos meos:God will oversee my enemies for me.ne occidas eos,Do not slay them, nequando obliviscantur populi mei.lest at times my people may forget them.Disperge illos in virtute tua,Scatter them by your virtue.et depone eos,And depose them, protector meus,O Lord,Domine:my protector,

delictum oris eorum,by the offense of their mouth and by the speech of their lips.sermonem labiorum ipsorum; And may they be caught in their arrogance.et comprehendantur in superbia sua. And,Et de execrationefor their cursing and lying,et mendacio annuntiabunturthey will be made known

in consummatione:at the consummation,in ira consummationis,in the fury of the consummation,et non erunt.and so they will be no more.Et scient quia Deus dominabitur Jacob,And they will know that God will rule over Jacob,et finium terræ.even to the ends of the earth.

Convertentur ad vesperam,They will return toward evening,et famem patientur ut canes:and they will suffer hunger like dogs,et circuibunt civitatem.and they will wander around the city.

Ipsi dispergentur ad manducandum; They will be dispersed in order to gnaw, and truly,si vero non fuerint saturati, when they will not have been satisfied,et murmurabunt.they will murmur.

Ego autem cantabo fortitudinem tuam,But I will sing your strength,et exsultabo mane misericordiam tuam:and I will extol your mercy, quia factus es susceptor meus,in the morning.et refugium meum in die tribulationis meæ.For you have been my supporter and my refuge in the day of my tribulation.

Adjutor meus,To you, my helper, tibi psallam, quia Deus susceptor meus es;I will sing psalms. For you are God,Deus meus,my supporter.misericordia mea.My God is my mercy.
