Psalmus David,A Psalm of David, quem cantavit Domino pro verbis Chusi, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Cush, filii Jemini.the son of Jemini.

Domine Deus meus,O Lord, my God,in te speravi; salvum me fac ex omnibus persequentibus me,in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me,et libera me:and free me:

nequando rapiat ut leo animam meam, lest at any time, like a lion, he might seize my soul, dum non est qui redimat, neque qui salvum faciat.while there is no one to redeem me, nor any who can save.

Domine Deus meus,O Lord, my God,si feci istud, si est iniquitas in manibus meis,if there is iniquity in my hands, if I have done this:

si reddidi retribuentibus mihi mala,if I have repaid those who rendered evils to me,decidam merito ab inimicis meis inanis.may I deservedly fall away empty before my enemies:

Persequatur inimicus animam meam, let the enemy pursue my soul,et comprehendat;and take hold of it,et conculcet in terra vitam meam, and trample my life into the earth,et gloriam meam in pulverem deducat.and drag down my glory into the dust. Pause

Exsurge,Rise up,Domine,Lord,in ira tua,in your anger.et exaltare in finibus inimicorum meorum:And be exalted to the borders of my enemies.et exsurge,And rise up,Domine Deus meus,O Lord my God,in præcepto quod mandasti, according to the precept that you commanded,

et synagoga populorum circumdabit te:and a congregation of people will surround you.et propter hanc in altum regredere:And, because of this, return on high.

Dominus judicat populos. The Lord judges the people.Judica me,Judge me,Domine,O Lord, secundum justitiam meam, according to my justiceet secundum innocentiam meam super me.and according to my innocence within me.

Consumetur nequitia peccatorum,The wickedness of sinners will be consumed,et diriges justum, and you will direct the just:scrutans corda et renes, the examiner of heartsDeus.and temperaments is God.

Justum adjutorium meum a Domino,Just is my help from the Lord, qui salvos facit rectos corde.who saves the upright of heart.

Deus judex justus,God is a just judge, fortis, stronget patiens;and patient.numquid irascitur per singulos dies? How could he be angry throughout every day?

Nisi conversi fueritis,Unless you will be converted, gladium suum vibrabit;he will brandish his sword.arcum suum tetendit,He has extended his bowet paravit illum.and made it ready.

Et in eo paravit vasa mortis,And with it, he has prepared instruments of death.sagittas suas ardentibus effecit. He has produced his arrows for those on fire.

Ecce parturiit injustitiam;Behold him who has given birth to injustice:concepit dolorem,he has conceived sorrowet peperit iniquitatem.and has begotten iniquity.

Lacum aperuit,He has opened a pitet effodit eum;and enlarged it.et incidit in foveam quam fecit. And he has fallen into the hole that he made.

Convertetur dolor ejus in caput ejus,His sorrow will be turned upon his own head,et in verticem ipsius iniquitas ejus descendet.and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.

Confitebor Domino secundum justitiam ejus,I will confess to the Lord according to his justice,et psallam nomini Domini altissimi.and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.
