Et vidi aliud signum in cælo magnum et mirabile,And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wondrous:angelos septem, seven Angels, habentes plagas septem novissimas:holding the seven last afflictions.quoniam in illis consummata est ira Dei.For with them, the wrath of God is completed.
Et vidi tamquam mare vitreum mistum igne, et eos,And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire.qui vicerunt bestiam, et imaginem ejus, et numerum nominis ejus,And those who had overcome the beast and his image and the number of his name, stantes super mare vitreum, were standing upon the sea of glass, habentes citharas Dei:holding the harps of God,
et cantantes canticum Moysi servi Dei,and singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God,et canticum Agni, dicentes:and the canticle of the Lamb,Magna et mirabilia sunt opera tua, saying: “Great and wondrous are your works,Domine Deus omnipotens:Lord God Almighty.justæ et veræ sunt viæ tuæ,Just and true are your ways,Rex sæculorum.King of all ages.
Quis non timebit te,Who shall not fear you,Domine,O Lord,et magnificabit nomen tuum?and magnify your name?quia solus pius es:For you alone are blessed.quoniam omnes gentes venient,For all nations shall approachet adorabunt in conspectu tuo,and adore in your sight, quoniam judicia tua manifesta sunt.because your judgments are manifest.”
Et post hæc vidi:And after these things,et ecce apertum est templum tabernaculi testimonii in cælo,I saw, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.
et exierunt septem angeli habentes septem plagas de templo,And the seven Angels went forth from the temple, vestiti lino mundoholding the seven afflictions,et candido, clothed with clean white linen,et præcincti circa pectora zonis aureis.and girded around the chest with wide golden belts.
Et unum de quatuor animalibus dedit septem angelis septem phialas aureas,And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven Angels seven golden bowls, plenas iracundiæ Dei viventis in sæcula sæculorum.filled with the wrath of God, of the One who lives forever and ever.
Et impletum est templum fumo a majestate Dei,And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of Godet de virtute ejus:and from his power.et nemo poterat introire in templum,And no one was able to enter into the temple, donec consummarentur septem plagæ septem angelorum.until the seven afflictions of the seven Angels were completed.
