¹Postquam autem hæc completa sunt,Then,accesserunt ad me principes,after these things were completed,dicentes:the leaders came to me,Non est separatus populus Israël,saying:sacerdotes“The people of Israel,et Levitæ,the priests,a populis terrarumand the Levites,et abominationibus eorum:have not been separated from the peoples of the lands and from their abominations,Chananæi videlicet,especially those of the Canaanites,et Hethæi,and Hittites,et Pherezæi,and Perizzites,et Jebusæi,and Jebusites,et Ammonitarum,and Ammonites,et Moabitarum,and Moabites,et Ægyptiorum,and Egyptians,et Amorrhæorum:and Amorites.
