2Fortitudo mea,The Lord is my strengthet laus mea Dominus, and my praise,et factus est mihi in salutem:and he has become my salvation.iste Deus meus,He is my God,et glorificabo eum:and I shall glorify him.Deus patris mei,He is the God of my father,et exaltabo eum.and I shall exalt him.

11Quis similis tui in fortibus,Who is like you in strength,Domine?O Lord?quis similis tui,Who is like you:magnificus in sanctitate,magnificent in sanctity,terribilis atque laudabilis,terrible and yet praiseworthy,faciens mirabilia?accomplishing miracles?
12Extendisti manum tuam,You extended your hand,et devoravit eos terra.and the earth devoured them.
13Dux fuisti in misericordia tua populo quem redemisti:In your mercy, you have been a leader to the people whom you have redeemed.et portasti eum in fortitudine tua, ad habitaculum sanctum tuum. And in your strength, you have carried them to your holy dwelling place.

17Introduces eos, et plantabis in monte hæreditatis tuæ,You shall lead them in and plant them, on the mountain of your inheritance, firmissimo habitaculo tuo quod operatus es, Domine:in your most firm dwelling place, which you have formed, sanctuarium tuum,O Lord, your sanctuary,Domine,O Lord, quod firmaverunt manus tuæ.which your hands have made firm.
18Dominus regnabit in æternum et ultra. The Lord will reign in eternity and beyond.

23Et venerunt in Mara,And they arrived at Marah.nec poterant bibere aquas de Mara,They were unable to drink the waters of Marah because they were bitter.eo quod essent amaræ:Therefore, unde et congruum loco nomen imposuit,he also established a name befitting the place, vocans illum Mara, calling it ‘Marah,’id est, that is,amaritudinem.bitterness.
24Et murmuravit populus contra Moysen,And the people murmured against Moses, dicens:saying:Quid bibemus?“What shall we drink?”
25At ille clamavit ad Dominum,So he cried out to the Lord, qui ostendit ei lignum: quod cum misisset in aquas, who showed him a tree. And when he had cast it into the waters,in dulcedinem versæ sunt:they were turned into sweetness. In that place, ibi constituit ei præcepta,he established instructions for him, atque judicia, and also judgments.et ibi tentavit eum,And he tested him there,
26dicens:saying:Si audieris vocem Domini Dei tui, et quod rectum est coram eo feceris,“If you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God,et obedieris mandatis ejus, and do what is right in his sight, custodierisque omnia præcepta illius, and obey his commands, and keep all his precepts, cunctum languorem, quem posui in Ægypto, non inducam super te:I will not bring upon you any of the distress that I imposed on Egypt.ego enim Dominus sanator tuus. For I am the Lord, your healer.”
