¹⁸Et dixerunt:And they said:Venite,“Come,et cogitemus contra Jeremiam cogitationes:and let us devise a plan against Jeremiah.non enim peribit lex a sacerdote,For the law will not perish from the priest,neque consilium a sapiente,nor counsel from the wise,nec sermo a propheta:nor a sermon from the prophet.venite,Come,et percutiamus eum lingua,and let us strike him with the tongue,et non attendamus ad universos sermones ejus.and let us pay no attention to any of his words.”
