⁴A deserto et Libano usque ad fluvium magnum Euphraten,From the desert and from Lebanon, even to the great river Euphrates,omnis terra Hethæorum usque ad mare magnum contra solis occasum erit terminus vester.all the land of the Hittites, as far as the great sea opposite the setting of the sun, shall be your border.

⁶Confortare,Be strengthenedet esto robustus:and be steadfast.tu enim sorte divides populo huic terram,For you shall divide by lot,pro qua juravi patribus suis,to this people,ut traderem eam illis.the land about which I swore to their fathers that I would deliver it to them.

⁷Confortare igitur, et esto robustus valde,Therefore, be strengthened and be very steadfast,ut custodias, et facias omnem legem,so that you may observe and accomplish the entire law,quam præcepit tibi Moyses servus meus:which Moses, my servant, instructed to you.ne declines ab ea ad dexteram vel ad sinistram,You may not turn aside from it to the right, nor to the left.ut intelligas cuncta quæ agis.So may you understand all that you should do.
