Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen,The Lord spoke to Moses, dicens:saying:

Loquere ad filios Israël,“Speak to the sons of Israel,et dices ad eos:and you shall say to them:Cum ingressi fueritis terram habitationis vestræ,When you will have entered into the land of your habitation, quam ego dabo vobis, which I will give you,

et feceritis oblationem Domino in holocaustum, aut victimam, and you make an offering to the Lord, as a holocaust or as a victim, vota solventes, paying your vows, vel sponte offerentes munera,or as a voluntary offering of gifts, aut in solemnitatibus vestris adolentes odorem suavitatis Domino,or in your solemnities, burning a sweet odor to the Lord,de bobus sive de ovibus:whether from the oxen or from the sheep:

offeret quicumque immolaverit victimam, sacrificium similæ,whoever immolates the victim shall offer a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, decimam partem ephi, the tenth part of an ephah, conspersæ oleo, sprinkled with oil, quod mensuram habebit quartam partem hin:which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin,

et vinum ad liba fundenda ejusdem mensuræ dabit in holocaustum sive in victimam.and he shall give the same measure of wine, poured out as libations,Per agnos singuloswhether as a holocaust or as a victim.

et arietes erit sacrificium similæ duarum decimarum,With each lamb and each ram, there shall be a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, of two tenths,quæ conspersa sit oleo tertiæ partis hin:which shall be sprinkled with one third part of a hin of oil.

et vinum ad libamentum tertiæ partis ejusdem mensuræ offeret in odorem suavitatis Domino. And he shall offer the same measure, one third part of wine, for the libation, as a sweet odor to the Lord.

Quando vero de bobus feceris holocaustum aut hostiam, ut impleas votum vel pacificas victimas,Yet truly, when you will offer, from the oxen, a holocaust or a victim, in order to fulfill your vow or for peace-offering victims,

dabis per singulos boves similæ tres decimas conspersæ oleo, quod habeat medium mensuræ hin:you shall give, for each ox, three tenths of fine wheat flour, sprinkled with oil, which has the measure of one half of one hin,

et vinum ad liba fundenda ejusdem mensuræ in oblationem suavissimi odoris Domino.and the wine, poured out as libations, shall be of the same measure, as an oblation of most sweet odor to the Lord.

Sic faciesSo shall you do

per singulos bovesfor each ox,et arietisand ram,et agnosand lamb,et hædos.and young goat.

Tam indigenæ quam peregriniBoth natives and sojourners

eodem ritu offerent sacrificia.shall offer sacrifices by the same rituals.

Unum præceptum eritThere shall be one precept and one judgment, atque judicium tam vobis quam advenis terræ.as much for yourselves as for newcomers to the land.”

Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen,And the Lord spoke to Moses, dicens:saying:

Loquere filiis Israël,“Speak to the sons of Israel,et dices ad eos:and you shall say to them:

Cum veneritis in terram, quam dabo vobis,When you will arrive in the land which I will give to you,

et comederitis de panibus regionis illius, and when you will eat from the bread of that region, separabitis primitias Dominoyou shall separate the first-fruits to the Lord

de cibis vestris.from the foods that you eat.Sicut de areis primitias separatis,Just as you separate the first-fruits of your threshing floors,

ita et de pulmentis dabitis primitiva Domino.so also shall you give the first-fruits of your cooked grains to the Lord.

Quod si per ignorantiam præterieritis quidquam horum,And if, through ignorance, you neglect any of these things,quæ locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, which the Lord has spoken to Moses,

et mandavit per eum ad vos,and which he has commanded through him for you,a die qua cœpit jubere et ultra, from the day that he began to command and thereafter,

oblitaque fuerit facere multitudo:and if the multitude will have forgotten to do it,offeret vitulum de armento, then they shall offer a calf from the herd, holocaustum in odorem suavissimum Domino,a holocaust as a most sweet odor to the Lord,et sacrificum ejus ac liba, and its sacrifice and libations,ut cæremoniæ postulant, just as the ceremonies ask, hircumque pro peccato:and a he-goat for sin.

et rogabit sacerdos pro omni multitudine filiorum Israël,And the priest shall pray for the entire multitude of the sons of Israel,et dimittetur eis,and it shall be forgiven them, quoniam non sponte peccaverunt, because they did not sin willfully. Nevertheless, nihilominus offerentes incensum Domino pro se et pro peccato atque errore suo:they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for sin, as well as for their error.

et dimittetur universæ plebi filiorum Israël,And it shall be forgiven all the people of the sons of Israel,et advenis qui peregrinantur inter eos:as well as the newcomers who sojourn among them, quoniam culpa est omnis populi per ignorantiam.for it is the culpability of all the people through neglect.

Quod si anima una nesciens peccaverit,But if one soul will have sinned by not knowing, offeret capram anniculam pro peccato suo:he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat for his sin.

et deprecabitur pro ea sacerdos,And the priest shall pray for him, quod inscia peccaverit coram Domino:because he sinned unknowingly before the Lord.impetrabitque ei veniam,And he shall obtain pardon for him,et dimittetur illi.and it will be forgiven him.

Tam indigenis quam advenis una lex erit omnium,One law shall be for all who sin by ignorance, qui peccaverint ignorantes.as much for natives as for newcomers.

Anima vero,Yet truly,quæ per superbiam aliquid commiserit, the soul who commits any of these acts through arrogance, sive civis sit ille, whether he is a citizen or a sojourner, sive peregrinus (quoniam adversus Dominum rebellis fuit),because he has rebelled against the Lord, peribit de populo suo:shall perish from among his people.

verbum enim Domini contempsit,For he has despised the word of the Lord,et præceptum illius fecit irritum:and he has nullified his precept. For this reason, idcirco delebitur,he shall be destroyed,et portabit iniquitatem suam.and he shall bear his iniquity.”

Factum est autem,And it happened that, cum essent filii Israël in solitudine, when the sons of Israel were in the wilderness,et invenissent hominem colligentem ligna in die sabbati, and they had found a man collecting wood on the day of the Sabbath,

obtulerunt eum Moysi et Aaron et universæ multitudini.they brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole multitude.

Qui recluserunt eum in carcerem,And they enclosed him in a prison, nescientes quid super eo facere deberent.not knowing what they should do with him.

Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen:And the Lord said to Moses,Morte moriatur homo iste:“Let that man be put to death;obruat eum lapidibus omnis turba extra castra.let the entire crowd crush him with stones, outside the camp.”

Cumque eduxissent eum foras,And when they had led him out, obruerunt lapidibus, they overwhelmed him with stones,et mortuus est,and he died, sicut præceperat Dominus.just as the Lord had instructed.

Dixit quoque Dominus ad Moysen:The Lord also said to Moses:

Loquere filiis Israël,“Speak to the sons of Israel,et dices ad eos ut faciant sibi fimbrias per angulos palliorum, and you shall tell them to make for themselves hems at the corners of their cloaks, ponentes in eis vittas hyacinthinas:placing in them ribbons of hyacinth,

quas cum viderint,so that, when they see these, recordentur omnium mandatorum Domini, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, nec sequantur cogitationes suas et oculos per res varias fornicantes, and they may not follow their own thoughts and eyes, fornicating in various ways,

sed magis memores præceptorum Domini faciant ea,but instead, they, being more mindful of the precepts of the Lord, sintque sancti Deo suo.may do them and may be holy to their God.

Ego Dominus Deus vester,I am the Lord your God,qui eduxi vos de terra Ægypti, who led you away from the land of Egypt,ut essem Deus vester.so that I may be your God.”
