Præcipe filiis Israël, ut ejiciant de castris omnem leprosum,“Instruct the sons of Israel to cast out of the camp every leper,et qui semine fluit,and those who have a flow of seed,pollutusque est super mortuo:and those who have been polluted because of the dead;
tam masculum quam feminam ejicite de castris,cast out of the camp both male and female,ne contaminent ea cum habitaverint vobiscum.lest they contaminate it while I am dwelling with you.”
Feceruntque ita filii Israël,And the sons of Israel did so,et ejecerunt eos extra castra,and they cast them out, beyond the camp,sicut locutus erat Dominus Moysi.just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen,And the Lord spoke to Moses,dicens:saying:
Loquere ad filios Israël:“Say to the sons of Israel:Vir,A man or a woman,sive mulier,when they have done anything out of all the sins that often befall men,cum fecerint ex omnibus peccatis,or if,quæ solent hominibus accidere,by negligence,et per negligentiam transgressi fuerint mandatum Domini,they have transgressed the commandment of the Lord,atque deliquerint,and so have committed an offense,
confitebuntur peccatum suum,they shall confess their sin,et reddent ipsum caput,and they shall restore the principle itself,quintamque partem desuper,plus a fifth part above it,ei in quem peccaverint.to any against whom they have sinned.

Omnes quoque primitiæ,Likewise, all the first-fruits,quas offerunt filii Israël,which the sons of Israel offer,ad sacerdotem pertinent:belong to the priest,
et quidquid in sanctuarium offertur a singulis,with whatever is offered by each one at the Sanctuary,et traditur manibus sacerdotis,and which is delivered into the hands of the priest;ipsius erit.it shall be his.”
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen,And the Lord spoke to Moses,dicens:saying:
Loquere ad filios Israël,“Speak to the sons of Israel,et dices ad eos:and you shall say to them:Vir cujus uxor erraverit,The man whose wife will have gone astray,maritumque contemnensand, disdaining her husband,
dormierit cum altero viro,will have slept with another man,et hoc maritus deprehendere non quiverit,and if her husband cannot discover it,sed latet adulterium,but the adultery is secret,et testibus argui non potest,and if it cannot be proved by witnesses,quia non est inventa in stupro:because she was not caught in the shameful act,

Scribetque sacerdos in libello ista maledicta,And the priest shall write these curses in a little book,et delebit ea aquis amarissimis,and then he shall erase them with the very bitter waters,in quas maledicta congessit,into which he had gathered the curses,
et dabit ei bibere.and he shall give it to her to drink.Quas cum exhauserit,And when she has emptied it,
tollet sacerdos de manu ejus sacrificium zelotypiæ,the priest shall take from her hand the sacrifice of jealousy,et elevabit illud coram Domino,and he shall elevate it before the Lord,imponetque illud super altare,and he shall impose it upon the altar.ita dumtaxat ut prius:Yet only after he first
