³Si consistant adversum me castra,If entrenched armies were to stand together against me,non timebit cor meum;my heart would not fear.si exsurgat adversum me prælium,If a battle were to rise up against me,in hoc ego sperabo.I would have hope in this.

⁴Unam petii a Domino,One thing I have asked of the Lord,hanc requiram,this I will seek:ut inhabitem in domo Domini omnibus diebus vitæ meæ;that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,ut videam voluptatem Domini,so that I may behold the delight of the Lord,et visitem templum ejus.and may visit his temple.
