⁴¹Fuerunt igitur gentes istæ timentes quidem Dominum,And such were these nations: to some extent fearing the Lord,sed nihilominus et idolis suis servientes:yet nevertheless also serving their idols.nam et filii eorum, et nepotes,As for their sons and grandsons,sicut fecerunt patres sui,just as their fathers acted,ita faciunt usque in præsentem diem.so also did they act, even to the present day.
