²Et dixit Dominus ad Satan:And the Lord said to Satan,Increpet Dominus in te,“May the Lord rebuke you,Satan!Satan!et increpet Dominus in te,And may the Lord, who chose Jerusalem,qui elegit Jerusalem! numquid non iste torris est erutus de igne?rebuke you! Are you not a firebrand plucked from the fire?”

⁴Qui respondit,He answered and spoke to those who stood before him,et ait ad eos qui stabant coram se,saying,dicens:“Take away the filthy garments from him.”Auferte vestimenta sordida ab eo.And he said to him,Et dixit ad eum:“Behold,Ecce abstuli a te iniquitatem tuam,I have taken away from you your iniquity,et indui te mutatoriis.and I have clothed you with a change of clothing.”

⁷Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum:Thus says the Lord of hosts:Si in viis meis ambulaveris,If you will walk in my wayset custodiam meam custodieris,and keep my charge,tu quoque judicabis domum meam,you likewise will judge my houseet custodies atria mea,and will keep my courts,et dabo tibi ambulantes de his qui nunc hic assistunt.and I will give you some of those who now attend here to walk with you.
