⁹Dic:Speak:Hæc dicit Dominus Deus:Thus says the Lord God:Ergone prosperabitur?What if it does not prosper?nonne radices ejus evellet,Should he not pull up its roots,et fructus ejus distringet,and strip off its fruit,et siccabit omnes palmites germinis ejus,and dry up all the branches that it has produced,et arescet,and let it wither,et non in brachio grandi, neque in populo multo, ut evelleret eam radicitus?though he is without a strong arm and without many people to pull it up by the root?
