²Tertiam partem igni combures in medio civitatis,A third part you shall burn with fire in the midst of the city,juxta completionem dierum obsidionis,according to the completion of the days of the siege.et assumes tertiam partem,And you shall take a third part,et concides gladio in circuitu ejus:and you shall cut it with the knife all around.tertiam vero aliam disperges in ventum,Yet truly, the other third, you shall scatter to the wind,et gladium nudabo post eos.for I will unsheathe the sword after them.
