²⁰Præcepit ergo rex Sedecias ut traderetur Jeremias in vestibulo carceris,Then king Zedekiah instructed that Jeremiah be confined to the vestibule of the prison,et daretur ei torta panis quotidie,and that they should give him a twist of bread daily,excepto pulmento,along with stew,donec consumerentur omnes panes de civitate:until all the bread in the city had been consumed.et mansit Jeremias in vestibulo carceris.And Jeremiah remained at the entrance of the prison.
