2diligit Dominus portas Sion super omnia tabernacula Jacob.the Lord loves the gates of Zion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
3Gloriosa dicta sunt de te,Glorious things are being said of you,civitas Dei!O City of God.
4Memor ero Rahab et Babylonis,I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me.scientium me;Behold,ecce alienigenæ,the foreigners,et Tyrus,and Tyre,et populus Æthiopum,and the people of the Ethiopians:hi fuerunt illic.these have been there.
5Numquid Sion dicet:Will not Zion say that this manHomo et homo natus est in ea,and that man were born in her?et ipse fundavit eam Altissimus?And the Most High himself has founded her.
6Dominus narrabit in scripturis populorumThe Lord will explain,et principum,in the writings of peoples and of leaders,horum qui fuerunt in ea.about those who have been in her.
7Sicut lætantium omnium habitatio est in te.For so the dwelling place within you is with all rejoicing.
